BGLightCE is a backgammon game for the Pocket PC that is based on Gnu Backgammon. It features the strongest backgammon opponent available for the Pocket PC. Features include match play and different playing levels, various board and checker sets, and move evaluation and hints. If you are bored and tired of beating other PocketPC backgammon games and are looking for more of a challenge, then BGLightCE is for you. The move generation and evaluation engine for BGLightCE is ported from bglight. According to Joseph Heled, the author of bglight and a contributor to GNU Backgammon, its playing strength is equivalent to mgnu_zp playing on FIBS, which is around 1950.

With a real Theremin, the user is able to create music by simply moving a hand in the proximity of a radio aerial, this movement effects the tuning of an electrical oscillator circuit, and thus music can be played with nothing more than gestures of the hand. A PocketPC doesn't include the means to replicate the radio circuitry capable of detecting the presence of a hand, but it does include a CPU powerful enough to synthesize the analogue circuitry within a theremins sound generation stage. The Pocket Clanger Theremin is controlled by moving your stylus/finger around on the multicoloured pad with the picture of the Clanger on it:
- Moving horizontally will cause the frequency (pitch) to change.
- Moving vertically will cause the amplitude (volume) to change. With skill and practice there's no reason why you can't become a virtuoso on this peculiar instrument.

Dog Leg Severity was developed for oil and gas engineers in the field who want a good estimation of the True Vertical Depth and Dog Leg Severity inside of a well. The engineers can use the Well Survey points to enter the Measured Depth, Inclination and Azimuth to calculate the estimated True Vertical Depth and Dog Leg Severity based.

My Calculations are based on the "Minimum Curvature Method" The "Minimum Curvature Method", takes the space vectors defined by inclination and direction measurements and smoothes these onto the wellbore curve by the use of a ratio factor which is defined by the curvature (dog-leg) of the wellbore section. The method produces a circular arc as does the radius of the curvature.
